Digital Smile Design: un nuevo truco en odontología cosmética.
Un nuevo enfoque para obtener información y documentar estática y dinámicamente toda la información necesaria para un diagnóstico moderno en Odontología Estética.
Un método simplificado para resaltar los problemas, soluciones y planificación antes de tomar la impresión diagnóstica.
En unos pocos pasos sencillos que usan el software y las imágenes del paciente se puede entender el problema y en pocos minutos, se puede planificar el nuevo diseño y tomar todas las decisiones correctas para resolver el caso estéticamente.
La técnica de Mock-up convencional proporciona una cera diagnóstica realizada por el técnico dental siguiendo las pautas dictadas por el dentista.
Este método no es muy conveniente desde un punto de vista económico, y además pueden surgir malentendidos entre el técnico clínico dental y el paciente.
La cera «virtual» permite en pocos minutos evaluar la posición, el tamaño y la forma de los dientes y sus tejidos blandos circundantes. Permite al paciente entender cuáles son los objetivos de nuestro tratamiento.
Finalmente, permite al dentista transmitir de manera muy precisa y precisa toda la información recopilada y analizada al técnico dental. En este punto es muy simple para el técnico para convertir el diseño digital en el modelo de piedra con la cera.
Mostrando al paciente el resultado de nuestro tratamiento antes de que usted realmente comience a trabajar en la boca ofrece muchas y significativas ventajas:
– Los pacientes participan activamente en el «diseño» de su sonrisa.

The conventional Mock-up technique provides a diagnostic wax-up performed by the dental technician following the guidelines dictated by the dentist.
This method is not very convenient from an economic standpoint, and moreover misunderstandings could be born between clinical dental technician and patient.
The “Virtual” wax-up allows in a few minutes to evaluate position, size and shape of the teeth and their surrounding soft tissues. Allows the patient to understand what is our treatment goals.
